I am a scientific software leader and technology manager with over 15 years of experience delivering mission-critical systems for ESA programmes. My work combines technical leadership, scientific data platforms, software architecture and product vision.
I currently serve as Work Area Manager for multi-mission astronomy and heliophysics downlink services at ESA/ESAC and Deputy Service Manager for Serco’s ESA Frame Contract, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting service governance, risk management, KPI tracking and operational continuity.
Alongside my ESA-focused work, I am developing AstroBrowser, a next-generation platform for interactive exploration of astronomical and Earth Observation data. AstroBrowser builds on my previous experience founding and technically coordinating ESASky, ESA’s flagship science discovery portal, and extends that vision towards scalable, browser-based scientific analysis platforms.
My long-term goal is to bridge astronomy, Earth Observation and AI through high-performance web technologies, enabling organisations to explore complex scientific and geospatial datasets with greater speed, clarity and interactivity.

My work spans software architecture, scientific data visualisation, ESA operations, and R&D. I have led the development of platforms such as ESASky and I am currently developing AstroBrowser, a new environment for interactive scientific analysis.
My long-term vision is to bridge astronomy, Earth Observation and artificial intelligence through scalable web-based platforms.
